Murfreesboro, Tennessee, USA - Wednesday 4th November, 2026 - Fifty is not the finish line. For Bea Robinson, it is often where the most rewarding work begins.

The award-winning founder of Smart Touch Skin Solutions has spent 26 years in permanent makeup, and some of her proudest moments have come from women who walked in convinced their best days were behind them and walked out feeling like themselves again.

“These women have spent their whole lives taking care of everyone else,” Robinson said. “Now it’s their turn. Every woman deserves to feel like herself, at every age.”

Robinson sees the same story again and again. A woman has done her brows and liner every morning for 30 or 40 years. Then the routine starts to take longer, the line is not as straight and the brows are not as full as they used to be. Some women push through. Others quietly give up. Robinson is clear it is never because they stopped caring. The process has simply become frustrating.

“Why should something as simple as getting ready for the day become a struggle?” she said.

Her answer is a set of signature services she designed with mature skin in mind: PowdeRise™ Brows, Nanocell Brows Therapy™ and her Tru2Color™ Method, a color-planning system she developed over years of practice. Together they help women get back the look of fuller, well-shaped brows without the daily pencil work.

Robinson is honest that it is not for everyone. “Permanent makeup cannot solve every challenge that comes with getting older, and it is certainly not necessary for every woman,” she said. “But for women who want it, it can be a practical option that reduces the need to apply certain cosmetics every day.”

Her credentials speak for themselves: 18 professional awards earned across the United States and Europe, more than 451 five-star Google reviews, and the titles of licensed instructor and craft master. She trains new artists one-on-one, and for 20 years her studio has run a pro bono program for women facing hardship, with cancer survivors given top priority.

“Confidence doesn’t have an expiration date,” Robinson said. “If I can give a woman back a few minutes every morning and a little extra spring in her step, that is a very good day’s work.”
